Typical uses
A 1/4" pitch chain with a 1.3mm gauge suits small, light saws such as top-handle and pruning saws, used for trimming branches, hedgerow work and light cutting where control matters more than speed. Half chisel cutters stay sharp longer and are more forgiving in dirty, frozen or knotty wood.
