A direct-fit replacement foot brake cable for the Honda TRX250, covering Recon, EX, TE, TM, and X variants produced between 1997 and 2018. The foot brake cable connects the foot pedal to the rear brake mechanism, transmitting braking force when the pedal is applied. A worn or damaged cable typically presents as a spongy or unresponsive pedal, failure to engage the brake fully, or a frayed and seized cable preventing full pedal travel.
Manufactured to OEM specification and cross-referencing Honda OEM part number 43470-HM8-00 for straightforward identification. Verify your model and year against the fitment table before ordering.
