The Chapman MG250 is a 2.3m arena leveller and grader designed for the maintenance of equestrian riding surfaces including sand, rubber crumb, wax-stabilised and fibre surfaces such as CombiRide, Turfloat and CLOPF. Available as a standard towed unit with 50mm ball or pin hitch for use behind ATVs, UTVs and 4x4 vehicles, or as a 3-point linkage mounted version for compact and mid-sized tractors where more frequent or larger-scale maintenance is required.
A pre-levelling bar allows the large diameter wheels to roll smoothly across the surface. Fourteen 13mm diameter spring steel tines with adjustable working depth agitate and loosen compacted material. A feathering levelling blade grades out high and low spots, with a reversible perimeter blade working the surface edges. A rear consolidation roller consolidates and orientates fibres across the surface for a one-pass finish. The delta-shaped frame deflects fence posts for safe operation close to arena boundaries.
Construction is fully hot-dip galvanised heavy-duty steel throughout for long-term resistance to weathering.
