The Chapman DT100 is an electric hydraulic tipping trailer for ATVs, UTVs and 4x4 vehicles, designed for agricultural, equestrian and contracting use. Rated to a maximum laden weight of 1,400kg with a 1 ton payload capacity, it is suited to moving soil, dung, stone and similar materials. The DT100 is off-road use only.
An electric hydraulic tipping system with a 50° tipping angle is controlled via a wired hand remote that attaches to the back of the towing vehicle, with an on-board battery for self-contained operation. An automatic latch and unlatch system in the rear tailgate allows hassle-free emptying without manual intervention. Twin pivoting axles with four flotation tyres provide stability and easy towing over rough ground.
A flat bed body option is available in place of the standard dump body, retaining the hydraulic tipping function and adding removable drop-down sides for flexible load carrying. Extension sides increase the body height by 300mm for bulkier lighter materials such as manure and leaves. A wireless remote upgrade eliminates the wired cable for cleaner operation, and an LED light kit is available for improved visibility.
