The Chapman BT500 is a towed round bale transporter for ATVs, UTVs and 4x4 vehicles, designed for moving round hay and silage bales where a tractor is unavailable or ground conditions are too wet for heavier machinery. Off-road use only. Maximum bale weight is 900kg, with bale diameter and length capacity of up to 1.5m.

The BT500 features an electric winch with remote control as standard for loading and unloading, allowing heavy bales to be handled without manual effort. Cradle arms automatically grip the bale when the transporter is reversed up to it, with a single ratchet strap to secure the load before winching. Hitching and unhitching requires only one small electrical plug connection.

A heavy-duty twin pivoting axle with 22x11x8in flotation tyres distributes the load across the ground, reducing ground pressure and allowing stable towing over rough and wet ground. The galvanised steel chassis is covered by a 2-year manufacturer warranty.
