• Installation (gloves recommended):
  1. Freedspool the winch and pull out approximately 2 feet of cable
  2. Remove the hairpin and release the clevis pin from the winch hook
  3. Remove the four bolts securing the two halves of the Split Cable Hook Stopper; place the cable between the halves, then reinsert and tighten the bolts
  4. Re-attach the hook to the cable end
  5. To stow, engage the clutch and reel the cable back onto the winch until the hook sits snug against the stopper and fairlead
  6. Position the stopper at about 3/4 of the total line distance toward the hook while winching
