A direct-fit replacement regulator rectifier for a range of Polaris 500cc and 700cc ATV and UTV models produced between 1997 and 2003, covering the Big Boss 500, Magnum 500, Scrambler 500, Sportsman 500, Sportsman 700, Ranger 500, Worker 500, and selected international and specialist variants. The unit regulates AC output from the stator and converts it to controlled DC voltage to maintain correct battery charge and protect electrical components from voltage overload.
