An advanced MOSFET-type replacement regulator rectifier for a range of Polaris Sportsman, Ranger, and RZR models produced between 2007 and 2010. Unlike conventional diode-style regulators, this MOSFET design runs significantly cooler, handles up to 50A peak and 30A continuous output, and features built-in overheat protection — temporarily shutting off to cool down rather than burning out. The unit regulates AC output from the stator and converts it to controlled DC voltage to maintain correct battery charge and protect electrical components from voltage overload.
