A starter motor for the Kawasaki KAF620 Mule 4000 and Mule 4010 produced between 2009 and 2020, covering standard, Trans 4×4, Camo, Hardwoods Green, Realtree APG HD, and Special Edition variants. This unit features a 12-volt electrical system with counter-clockwise (CCW) rotation, 9-tooth drive gear, and offset gear reduction (OSGR) design.
Important: This starter (Denso 228000-8842) differs from the SND0459 (Denso 228000-8841) in drain tube and breather tube configuration and the two units should not be used interchangeably. This unit has no drain tubes and features a breather tube nipple on the front of the DE frame for long breather tube attachment.
