A direct-fit replacement CDI module for the Kawasaki KLF 400 Bayou produced between 1993 and 1999. The CDI unit controls ignition timing by storing and discharging electrical energy to the ignition coil at the correct point in the engine cycle. A failing CDI typically presents as no spark, intermittent starting, or misfiring under load.
Manufactured to OEM specification using higher-grade electronic components, with every unit triple-tested before dispatch. Replacing the regulator rectifier at the same time is strongly recommended, as a failing regulator is a common cause of CDI failure on these models.
