A direct-fit replacement CDI module for the Kawasaki KLF 300 Bayou A, KLT 200, and KLT 250 produced between 1981 and 1987. The CDI unit controls ignition timing by storing and discharging electrical energy to the ignition coil at the correct point in the engine cycle. A failing CDI typically presents as no spark, intermittent starting, or misfiring under load.

Manufactured to OEM specification using higher-grade electronic components, with every unit triple-tested before dispatch. Note: this unit has been redesigned for improved reliability and does not replicate the appearance of the original. More than one CDI type was fitted to these models - compare your original unit to the product image before ordering. See RM02003 for the alternative variant. Replacing the regulator rectifier at the same time is strongly recommended, as a failing regulator is a common cause of CDI failure on these models. Note: CDI modules are non-returnable and not covered by warranty due to the specific nature of this technology.
