Teat feeding activates the oesophageal groove reflex, directing milk past the rumen and into the abomasum where it is correctly digested - reducing the risk of scouring associated with bucket feeding. Calves fed via a teat can gain an extra 1.4kg in weight to 12 weeks. A pull-through design makes the CT6 compatible with any feeder with a 22mm opening.
